The quick answer is Absolutely NOT.

The wording of a file name is not important – that can be anything really

• front-yard.jpg
• side_of_house.jpg
• frontyard2.jpg

What you must avoid is using special characters, as much as possible
These are No-No Examples:

• --2---medium-.jpg
• (1)house.jpg
• (--2---medium-).jpg

Starting the file name with any special character, not letter or a number
WILL BREAK THE UPLOAD, Cause corrupted images, and or break the tour
(because the programming has encountered an improper file name)

keep your image file names simple & concise
and you'll have little or no troubles with Image Uploader 7
