Can Image File Names start with special characters?
The quick answer is Absolutely NOT.
The wording of a file name is not important – that can be anything really
- front-yard.jpg
- side_of_house.jpg
- frontyard2.jpg
What you must avoid is using
special characters, as much as possible
These are No-No Examples:
- --2---medium-.jpg
- (1)house.jpg
- (--2---medium-).jpg
Starting the file name with any
special character, not letter or a number
WILL BREAK THE UPLOAD, Cause
corrupted images, and or break the tour
(because the programming has
encountered an improper file name)
keep your image file names simple & concise
and you'll have little or no troubles with Image Uploader 7
